This is the story of groundbreaking Taiwanese choreographer Chou Shu-yi. Chou began his creative career in the early 2000s as a modern dancer who pushes the boundaries of dance. In his popular performance “Bolero,” Chou chooses diverse dancers who perform in unlikely venues, such as art museums, temple squares, and village street corners. His goal is to expand audiences’ conceptions of modern dance. After an injury caused Chou to put his dance career on hold, he met Taiwanese modern dancer and choreographer Luo Man-fei, who encouraged Chou to return to his art. When Luo passed away, Chou performed in her place in dance troupe Cloud Gate 2’s show, which served as a memorial to Luo’s memory. In recent years, Chou has expanded beyond performance art into the realm of visual art, earning him recognition at the Busan International Film Festival in 2018 and the 79th Venice Film Festival in 2022. Chou has also traveled outside of Taiwan to create dance films in China, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Singapore. In these films, Chou uses his body to record images of Asian landscapes that are disappearing under the shadow of globalization. Chou’s cumulative work led him to be selected as a resident artist at Taiwan’s National Performing Arts Center before reaching the age of 40. Thanks to Chou’s unceasing need to create, his influential works propel the field of modern dance forward. Today, Chou’s performances continue to open the minds of audiences while spreading the spirit of Taiwan across the globe.

It was the age of innocence. It was the age of passion. It was the dawn of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. It was a small southern city. The story started with a popular memoir written by a journalist named Wu Youli, which depicts the golden era of a group of teenagers. However, the truth was merely perfect. A series of incidents happened before the Olympics changed the lives of a frustrated former athlete, a group of innocent teenage runners, and the aspired journalist. Facing the unpleasant past, Wu, who was writing his memoir, had to compose a fictional one to toast the missed golden years of the teenage runners.
A stylistic narrative was adopted to establish a relationship between the story and fact. The movie contains multiple layers of truth associated with memoirs, character stories, and objective facts. However far the reality is from the truth, virtually any story has some shadows of lies but paradoxically seeks the truth. The movie used long shots and perceptual editing, with experienced actors and new talents from mainland China and Taiwan featured on the big screen, as if they truly lived through the journeys of their characters.

"This documentary records the period between 2007 and 2008 when Alun participated in the world break-dance contest in Paris. Another line of the story is about a new generation of hip-hop dance group on the street of Taipei called ""Eight Children"". This is a documentary about two generations of hip-hop dancers."

Having witnessed the public being oppressed, four young Taiwanese lawyers joined forces to form a team of defenseattorneys.
Over the past three years, while Taiwan was undergoing a major change, these attorneys kept their focus on serving the publicthrough the several cases which they had taken on. They fought for the rights of the older workers in the lawsuit between a group of displaced workers and the government. They were
also involved in the efforts to subvert the military trial system as well as in the Sunflower Movement where students occupied the legislative chamber.
These attorneys fought strongly for the weak, against the injustice in the state’s administration and legislation, like in L'Homme Révolté (The Rebel) by Albert Camus.
In the third global wave of democratisation when Taiwan is beginning to shine, democratic stagnation and evolutionary dictatorship seemed to come into picture. This is the time when this team of pro bono attorneys play the role of promoting Taiwan’s democratic progression.
